Eighteen (18) new vehicles for the "EAC Regional Network of Public Health Reference Laboratories for  Communicable Diseases” - EAC Mobile Lab Project have arrived at EAC Secretariat Headquarters in Arusha.

These vehicles will be used to carry Mobile Labs with the aim of establishing a sustainable laboratory infrastructure and response network across East Africa.

The EAC Mobile Lab Project is being implemented by the East African Community (EAC), in collaboration with the Bernhard Nocht Institute for Tropical Medicine (BNITM) under the German Government support through KfW.
